Wow! What a great 7 days of preschool we have had!! I'm really enjoying getting to know my new little personalities...and get reaquainted with "old" ones!
We have 2 new little friends in our classroom: Tickles and Pickles, our caterpillers!! Pickles, the smaller one, has already formed his "little house" and the children are anxiously awaiting his transformation!
I'm hoping to post some pictures, later today, of our first days of school----so check back in!
Reminders:
*4's will be walking, weather permitting, to the library Friday! Please remember to have your child wear tennis shoes!!
*Show and tell will officially begin on the 22nd/23rd of September! Each child may bring in one labeled item to share with the class!
*Permission slip forms and money for the Paugh's Orchard Field trip are due on the 28th. As are Scholastic book orders!

Preschool Open House/Orientation
The date for Preschool Open House/Orientation has been confirmed! It will be on Friday, August 26th from 4-6pm. I will be available to stay a little later than that, for those who may be hard pressed to make it during those times.
I look forward to seeing my former 3's ......who will be the "big kids" now at Reformation Lutheran Church Preschool!! I also am looking forward to meeting my new kids!!
I have scheduled a lot of fun field trips this year--most are the same as last year,but I am contemplating adding a few new ones this year...you'll have to wait and see!
I pray the rest of your summer is enjoyable and safe! See you in a few weeks!

2011-2012 School Year
"Hello" and "Welcome Back" to another year of fun and learning at Reformation Lutheran Church Preschool! I promise to try and be better about posting this school year! :)
We are looking at August 26th as a possible date for Preschool Orientation. A letter will be going out as soon as the date and times are confirmed. We are looking forward to meeting all our new kiddies and reconnecting with last years 3's---I'm sure they have grown!!

December Important dates
I apologize for not posting in November---I'm still adjusting to using this blog. I promise to try and do better!
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to all the family members and friends of our students who attended our Thanksgiving Feast. I think we can all agree that it was a huge success. The children were quite proud of themselves (as were Mrs. Tussing and I of them)!
Important December dates:
Wednesday, December 15==field trip to Assisted Living for Christmas Caroling
9:45am-12pm
Friday, December 17---Walking field trip to library....WEATHER PERMITTING!
Monday and Tuesday, December 20 and 21---Gift exchange!!! Please send in a wrapped gift
for your child to exchange (girls bring a girl gift and boys a boy gift).
$5 limit.
Wednesday, December 22---Christmas Cookie Social!! 9:30am-11am. Since every form I
have received has stated that parents will be taking their child
home--school will close at 11am.
