Field Trip!!!
We are going on a Field trip!!
Thursday October 7th we are going to Paugh’s Apple Orchid. Each child needs to pay $4.00 by Oct. 4th. They will receive half a peck of apples, a pumpkin and a tour of the orchard.
All parents are welcome! I need parent volunteers to drive other students in case their parents cannot make it. All students (3’s &4’s) need to be at Reformation by 9:00. We will be leaving by 9:30. We will have a snack there around 11. We should be back to Reformation around 12:00.
Thank You,
Jessica Bowman

Calling all mystery Readers!!
CALLING ALL MYSTERY READERS!
I would like to invite any parents, older siblings, grandparents, relatives, or other special people to surprise your child by being a “Mystery Reader” this year in our classroom. Students LOVE having their family, friends, and relatives visit our classroom to share in our learning by reading a favorite story aloud to our class. Mystery Readers will visit us on Fridays at 1:45 p.m. Each week for the 4 years old and Thursday at 11:15 for the 3 years old. Readers are asked to bring a book to read or read a teacher-chosen book from our classroom library.
If you can find a date that works for you, please sign up to be a Mystery Reader for the 2010-2011 school year! There are many open dates to choose from throughout the year.
Included with this note is a list of dates that are available.
Please indicate at least two dates (if possible) that will work for you so that I can accommodate the most people. You can either email me your preferred dates or send your top three choices in a “top secret” envelope to school with your child. I will get back to you as soon as I can to confirm your official Mystery Reader date.
Please see me or drop me a “secret” note if you have any further questions. We can’t wait to meet our 2010-2011 Mystery Readers!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Bowman
